We are entering into holiday season.  What are you gonna be this Halloween? Get festive!

I have a new yoga class in Cobble Hill at an absolute adorable studio (Take Root) that offers intimate yoga classes for small groups.  Come by!!



October Focus: Inversions


What are the benefits of inverting in yoga practice?
  • Improves your circulation.  Allows your body to work with gravity to ease the circulation process.
  • Calms the mind
  • Strengthens your core
  • Stimulates your lymphatic system which is responsible for waste removal, immune system response, and fluid balance.
  • Stimulates pituitary gland


Inversions we will explore:

  • Halasana (Plough pose)
  • Sarvangasana (Shoulder Stand)
  • Viparita Karani (Legs up the Wall)
  • Sirasana (Headstand)
